ABOUT OUR PRESENTER

John Churchill began his career in the Navy, training cadets on basic flight instruments. After 20 years of military service, he moved into the manufacturing industry and spent 24 years working with Fortune 500 companies, such as Kimberly Clark, Champion Paper, and Nabisco. He finished his career with industry as the Corporate Training Manager for Gerdau Ameristeel before moving into the higher education arena as the Executive Director of WFD, Corporate Training & Continuing Education for Southwest Tennessee Community College. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Business Services for the Greater Memphis Alliance for a Competitive Workforce (GMACW). John currently works for Technology Education to Go, LLC (TechEd2Go) where he collaborates with partners such as local K12 school districts, non-profit organizations and businesses to assist the emerging workforce with locating educational pathways to, and opportunities for, livable wage careers. He also works with area companies to improve their work culture and increase employee skills and development.
