Slow Your Roll: Mindfulness and Meditation for Professionals


This presentation will teach you how to thrive both personally and professionally in today's accelerated culture by introducing techniques which will show us "how to use our minds" instead of "our minds using us." Some tangible take-aways from this presentation will be: better self-awareness, improved emotional regulation/emotional intelligence, increased focus, and attention to better self-care & an emphasis on work/life balance.

About the speaker

Greg Graber, the author of the best-selling book, Slow Your Roll, teaches mindfulness and meditation to sports teams, schools, and various organizations around the world.

He has worked with the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies, LSU, VCU, the University of Memphis, and Mount Saint Mary's University. He's been contracted by organizations like the Hilton Worldwide Hotels, Shamrock Foods, and the Virginia Department of Corrections.

Greg's work has been featured in the New York Times and on ESPN, and he has presented at Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

As the Head of Middle School at Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee, Greg has developed the Unplugged Mindfulness Program for students and teachers, and he consults with other schools on developing similar mindfulness programs. Contact information: www.greggraber.com
