When Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare assessed their associate engagement levels in 2009, the healthcare system was hovering at the 60th percentile. For this faith based institution, senior leaders knew it was time to embark upon an intentional top-down approach to culture-shaping. Starting in 2010 with their senior leaders, MLH began “unfreezing” and grounding the system in concepts founded on Kurt Lewin’s behavioral change model. At the heart of MLH’s culture shaping work is Senn Delaney’s two-day workshop called “Unfreeze.” To sustain the culture concepts beyond the workshop, Hutson and Keeton, along with several others, created a system wide service philosophy, expanded system orientation to expound upon Unfreeze concepts and integrated shared culture language in everything the organization does. Join us as we learn best practices and lessons learned on shifting organizational culture to drive performance excellence.

Parking - Parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the office building. Guests should enter parking garage from Dudley Street and park anywhere on the ground level. The parking gate will be up to allow access (no code needed). They will walk across Monroe to the adjacent office building and take the elevator to the first floor.
