Session Overview – As we now find ourselves well into 2018, professionals in the workforce development community are witness to the accelerating immergence, convergence, and maturity of numerous technologies that promise instructional breakthroughs. Individually, these technologies are functionally fascinating. In combination, they are potentially profound.
In our session, we will describe these technologies at a high level and then focus our attention on one of immediate interest: Augmented Reality (AR). Of course, what exploration of AR would be complete without a proper demonstration? With that objective in mind, and to maximize the value of our demonstration, we suggest you download and install one or more of the following AR “viewing” apps prior to attending the session.
We’ll conclude our session with a discussion of potential next steps and available resources.
