Listening Makes Us More Human!

Presented by Sheila C. Bentley

With the use of social media on the rise and our main form of communication coming from the pixels of a screen, our listening behaviors are changing.  If listening is what makes us more human, then what are we evolving into?

In this interactive session, Sheila C. Bentley, a past president of the International Listening Association, explores the factors that are influencing face-to-face communication and how the quality of our listening is being affected.  In addition, we will explore the effects that these changes in our listening behaviors are having on our relationships and our ability to work together.  Learn the benefits of dynamic listening in face-to-face interactions, along with ways of becoming a reinvented listener.
