Whether you’re an employee or an entrepreneur, you must to learn how to network. Keyword: learn. Networking is a skill set—not just ”something you do.” As with any skill set, there’s no shame in not having mastered networking. Very few indeed have truly mastered that skill set—including most who think they have. If you’re new to networking, or find it hard, awkward, maybe even a little embarrassing, take heart: A few skills can carry you a long way. A great start is understanding that networking is not shaking hands and passing out business cards. It’s building relationships.

This workshop will cover The Four P’s for Building Relationships Through Networking. You’ll learn techniques for…

  • packaging yourself as a product so you leave a positive lasting impression
  • marketing yourself as a product
  • placing yourself at the right events for your business needs
  • promoting yourself professionally.

Don’t network haphazardly. Do it by design. You need to develop a strategic plan before you walk out the door. You’ll learn, in this workshop, techniques to enable you to bridge the gap between casual networking and creating lasting, mutually beneficial relationships, both professional and personal.
